Cake Handeling
- When picking up cakes have a space available on the floor of your vehicle for your cake to rest, this prevents the cake from sliding while driving your vehicle
- When driving avoid bumps and making sharp turns
- No one should be holding your cakes while driving to prevent the cake from shifting in the box and being damaged
- Do NOT place cakes in the trunk of your car for transport
- Make sure your A/C is on the coldest temperature in your vehicle to prevent buttercream from melting
- If the cake will be placed in an outside event keep the cake indoors, in a cold setting (preferably in the fridge or at a house temperature of 70 or below) to avoid melting, until cake is needed.
- Cakes should be stored in the fridge, take cake out of the fridge an hour prior to your event to allow cake to come back to room temperature for cutting. Cutting your cake directly out of the fridge will cause the cake to be stiff.
- For indoor events try to keep the inside temperature at 75 degrees or lower
